Medication at School
A reminder to all that medication can only be administered at school when the medication meets the following criteria:
- Has been prescribed to the child by a doctor
- Is clearly labelled with child’s name
- Is clearly labelled with the dosage and time required
- And written parent permission has been recorded on school paperwork at the Administration.
Students will be supervised whilst taking the administered medication to ensure safety standards are met. Students should not be given over the counter medication to self medicate at school, nor should teachers be asked to assist with administration.
