P & C News
Your P+C Association has its Annual General Meeting Wednesday 25 March at 7pm in the school Library. The date is slightly later than usual to allow enough time for the audited financial records of the P+C to be returned and to be available for the meeting.
All parents and community are invited to attend. All Executive and Sub Committee Convenor positions will be declared vacant and nominations called for.
Immediately following the AGM will be a general meeting.
School Contribution / Fees
At the start of the new year we ask for our School Contribution to be paid to the P&C during the opening hours of the Uniform Room.
This contribution is to help us with funds to purchase items for the school, again this year we are focusing on more Adventure Playground equipment.
The school Contribution is $40.00 per child or $100 per family maximum.
Last year these contributions, along with our Fundraising activites enabled the P&C to buy a portable stage for the School and 7 outdoor seating tables for the students use.
P & C Priorities
Our priorities for this year are as follows:
- Continued running of the Tuckshop three days per week (Volunteers are needed for this and we would appreciate any help)
- Issue of all and correct uniform to all students (as stock becomes available) and the possible design of a School Dress and winter jumper and pants.
- Our School Fete, to be held on Sunday 29th March (watch this space for more news or contact Kyla via school if you would like to have a stall or help out)
- Fundraising for further Adventure playground equipment for the Senior School and the P-3 area. (The new Prep - Yr3 playground has cost $90,000 to date)
Next P&C Meeting
Our P&C Meeting are held at School on the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
The next meeting is Wednesday 4th March, 2009. Please feel welcome to come and sit in on a meeting or even join the P&C as a committee member.
