Carpark Safety

We are very lucky to have 2 carpark zones at our school. Both “public” carparks can be used by anyone, but we urge you to think about using the old back carpark if you have children in the upper school. This should ease the demand on the new front carpark.

Please ensure you follow all signage in the school carparks. The lane closest to the school is for Surfside and After School Care buses.

The middle lane is a “drop/ kiss and go zone”, and is not to be used for parking.

The parking areas inside the school fence are strictly for staff and designated official visitors only (still mainly “tradesmen” at this point).

Additional carpark signs have been ordered.

Parking in a Bicycle lane in Queensland is not illegal as long as the bicycle lane is not marked as such, however please keep the safety of those children who ride to school in mind when choosing to park in a Bicycle Lane.

Student safety is our utmost concern and we appreciate all drivers that adhere to these safety guidelines.

Please note that Police have been monitoring our School and issuing tickets for incorrect parking and speeding.
