Religious Education

Education Queensland allows for 30 minutes a week of Religious Instruction in Years 1 to 7. Lessons have begun for 2009.

Students with RE permission on enrolment will undertake ½ hour lessons with volunteer instructors. All instructors have been approved by their churches and hold current blue cards.

Participating students will be invited to make a gold coin donation to cover the costs of the resource materials used. Students can keep their booklets at the end of the year.

At any time, parents may request in writing a change to their child’s religious status as recorded by the school so as to either include them in RI, or to exclude them from RI.
