Coomera Springs Cross Country

Just a reminder to parents and students that we will be running our school cross country on the last Thursday before we break up for the Easter holidays.

Please come a support your child/ren when they race The timetable is attached here for your convenience.

All students have been placed in a Coloured house depending on their surname. The houses are Tugai (red / meaning mountains), Ballun (blue / meaning river), Tharagum (yellow) and Kaban (green / meaning rainforest).

The names of our sports houses come from the local indigenous Yugumbir language. Students are encouraged to wear their team colours on the day to help support their teams.

Other things to remember are to bring a water bottle, a hat and sensible running shoes.

Please note that part of our cross country course will be through the bottom car park so the gates will be closed that morning for car access.

Parents are encouraged to come and watch and support their children by wearing team colours. Please note that advertised times are a guide and it is advisable to be here 30min before your childs race to avoid disappointment.
