Walk to School Day
The Walk Safely to School Day is held across Australia on Friday 2 May and we want you to participate!
National Testing
On 13, 14 and 15 May more than 200 000 students across Queensland will take part in the first national literacy and numeracy tests.
Student Workshop
As a part of the Queensland Academies Year 6 to 9 Middle Years' workshop program, the Queensland Academy of Health Science is conducting a 'Working Scientifically Workshop' for students in years 6 to 9 on Saturday 10th May starting 8.00am and closing at 3.00pm.
Paramount Dance is now at School!
After School Hip Hop Dance Classes are starting at Coomera Springs State School. Starting Friday 2nd May, 3.15pm - 4.15pm in the Coomera Springs State School Undercover Area.
E-Merchants (Cashless School)
Coomera Springs State School is offering families the opportunity to become involved in an E-fundraising scheme. It is a P & C initiative and the card will enable us to move to a cashless school, as well as provide further benefits to the P & C fundraising efforts.

Parent Support Courses
Parents who have students in Prep, Year 1 or 2 are invited to attend either of two free voluntary training programs being run at School next Monday and Tuesday.
6/7K Excursion to Stradbroke Island
Year 6/7K are planning an excursion to Stradbroke Island on Monday 28 April.
Year 5/6/7 Camp
June 10-13th has been set aside for a Year 5,6,7 camp to Tallebudgera Camp School.

Year 2 Diagnostic Net
The Year 2 Diagnostic Net is a process of monitoring and reporting on children’s development in aspects of Literacy and Numeracy. The process helps identify children who need additional support.
Anzac Day
