Behaviour Standards
Coomera Springs State School has high expectations for student behaviour. Enrolling parents often give this as the reason for bringing their child to our school. We expect all children to be safe and learning.
As part of our written reporting period this semester you will receive information on your childs’ behaviour. Teachers have spent a lot of time discussing descriptors to determine the standards expected from our students on a scale (A-E).
Students are mapped onto a matrix to determine the overall standard given.
This matrix demonstrating the descriptors for classroom and playground have been included in this newsletter and can be found here for your information. Please talk to your child about the high expectations; and your childs teacher if you have any questions.
