Official Opening
On Thursday we celebrated our official opening with many special guests in attendance. The Honourable Mr Rod Welford, Minister for Education, Training and the Arts was on hand to unveil the official plaque.

Science Day - 20 August 2008

“On Wednesday 20th August, fifteen year six students went to U.C.S.C for a Science Day.
Gold Coast Show Day Holiday
Friday 29th August is a public holiday for all students and staff. Please ensure you make alternative arrangements for care of your children on that day.
WOW - Wipe Out Waste
Miss Hokanson has arranged for the Gold Coast City Council Wipe Out Waste (WOW) van to visit our school and work with all classes.
Bush Dance at U.C.S.C.
The Junior School at Upper Coomera State College will be holding a BUSHDANCE on Friday, 12th September. They have invited Coomera Springs State School to join them on this occasion.
Uniform Transitions
The following transition arrangements will apply for 2008 as we transition from having only a sports uniform to having a full uniform.
Chess at Coomera Springs
Gardiner Chess has now begun a Chess program at Coomera Springs SS.
Extracurricular Activities - Dance
We have a number of Extracurricular activites runnung at school in Term 3, These include Dance and a number being run by teachers.
Parent Volunteers
All parent volunteers must sign on at the school office, or the Tuckshop.
Community Youth Centre Vacation Care
Oxenford and Coomera Community Youth Centre is offering a Holiday Care program for the September School Holidays.
Loganholme Cricket Club
Loganholme Cricket Club is looking to expand their Junior player base for the 2008-2009 cricket season commencing early October.
