Sadly we have accepted the resignation of our Secretary who is leaving the state to return to Western Australia.

Enrolment Agreements Due NOW

Thank you to the many families that have completed and returned the 3 enrolment agreements.

National Testing

National testing of students in Years 3, 5 and 7 will take place on 13-15th May 2008

Student Numbers / Class Sizes

As you are probably aware our CSSS family is growing regularly. We have recently had our 8th teacher appointed – this 8th teacher will work across three oversized classes to support curriculum delivery.

Fly Screen / Security Screens

We are currently seeking the services of a business to quote on putting flyscreens in our canteen and security screens in our Facilites Shed.

Parental Concerns

It has come to our attention that students have been approaching others about swapping lunches in the past couple of weeks. Please discuss with your child the reasons for only eating their own lunches:

New and Revised Policies

Please check the following new Birthday Cake Policy and the updated Uniform Policy.

Uniform Transitions

As the weather gradually gets chillier we are seeing the introduction of jumpers to our uniform.

Behaviour Standards

As part of our written reporting period this semester you will receive information on your childs’ behaviour standards.

Year 5/6/7 Camp

The students of 5/6R and 6/7K will be attending a camp at the Tallebudgera Beach School from Tuesday 10 June until Friday 13 June.

Prep Enrolment 2009

We have received a number of enquiries regarding Prep enrolments for 2009.

Money Collection

Just a reminder that any school monies for excursions/camps/instrumental music are accepted on Friday morning from 8.00-9.30am at the office window.
P+C monies can be paid to the Tuckshop or Uniform Shop.

Tuck Shop News

From the start of Term 2 our Tuckshop will be open on Mondays and Fridays. The updated Menu is on our website.
