P & C News
Sadly we have accepted the resignation of our Secretary who is leaving the state to return to Western Australia.
Enrolment Agreements Due NOW
As from Monday 19th May any students without a signed Enrolment Agreement NO LONGER have access to the internet, excursions, camps, and so on.
Education Week Activites
To celebrate our first Education Week 26 to 30 May, we will be having some exciting Science activities on Monday 26 May and Sporting activities on Tuesday 27th May, 2008.
Sports Carnival
On Tuesday the 27th of May we are hosting an Interschool Sports Carnival for all students Years 4-7. Park Lake State School will be attending.
P&C E-Merchant (Cashless School)
Coomera Springs State School is offering families the opportunity to become involved in an E-fundraising scheme. It is a P & C initiative and the card will enable us to move to a cashless school, as well as provide further benefits to the P & C fundraising efforts.
Can you Help with Fly/Security Screens?
We are currently seeking the services of a business to quote on putting flyscreens in our canteen and security screens in our Facilites Shed.
Bells
We are currently trialling the introduction of 3 bells to our school day.
National Testing
National testing of students in Years 3, 5 and 7 took place last week.
Uniform Transitions
The following transition arrangements will apply for 2007 as we transition from having only a sports uniform to having a full uniform.
Behaviour Standards
At Coomera Springs we have set a high expectation for behaviour within our school community. We do this with the overwhelmimg support of parents who want their child to be safe and able to learn at our school.
Year 5/6/7 Camp - Payment Due NOW!
The students of 5/6R and 6/7K will be attending a camp at the Tallebudgera Beach School from Tuesday 10 June until Friday 13 June.
Prep Enrolment 2009
We have received a number of enquiries regarding Prep enrolments for 2009. Some parents are worrying unnecessarily about securing placements.
Money Collection
Just a reminder that any school monies for excursions/camps/instrumental music are accepted on Friday morning from 8.00-9.30am at the office window.
P+C monies can be paid to the Tuckshop or Uniform Shop.
Student Numbers / Class Sizes
We currently anticipate the need to make a number of class changes in late June for the start of Term 3, or before if enrolment numbers continue to climb.
