P & C News - Still looking for a Secretary
We have accepted the resignation of our Secretary and we are still looking for someone to join our Executive Committee in this role.
Bullying - No Way
It doesn't matter whether it's physical, psychological or even cyber. Bullying is a concern that our school takes very seriously and is working to address.

Conveyance Allowance Applications
The deadline for receipt of 2008 conveyance allowance applications to reach your local Queensland Transport office is Friday 20th June 2008.
Free Programmes for Parents
Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre and
Northern Gold Coast Communities for Children run free programmes for parents.
Chess @ Coomera Springs
We are currently in discussions with Gardiner Chess regarding the implementation of a Chess program at Coomera Springs SS.
P&C E-Merchant (Cashless School)
Coomera Springs State School is offering families the opportunity to become involved in an E-fundraising scheme. It is a P & C initiative and the card will enable us to move to a cashless school, as well as provide further benefits to the P & C fundraising efforts.
Instrumental Music Program
The Instrumental Music program is now well under way. The students are excited by what they have achieved in the lessons to date.
Bells
We are currently trialling the introduction of 3 bells to our school day.
Religious Education Instruction
We have had an excellent response from students attending our RE program.
Uniform Transitions
The following transition arrangements will apply for 2007 as we transition from having only a sports uniform to having a full uniform.
Parent Volunteers
All parent volunteers must sign on at the school office, or the Tuckshop. This ensures all volunteer adults on our campus are covered by the P+C volunteer insurance should an injury occur.
Student Numbers / Class Sizes
We currently anticipate the need to make a number of class changes in late June for the start of Term 3, or before if enrolment numbers continue to climb.
Money Collection
Just a reminder that any school monies for excursions/camps/instrumental music are accepted on Friday morning from 8.00-9.30am at the office window.
P+C monies can be paid to the Tuckshop or Uniform Shop.
