Amazing to believe our inaugural year is almost at a close. We have accomplished many milestones in our short history.
AusKick Double Session
Please note that the NAB AFL Auskick program will hold a double session on Thursday December 11th – 3.10pm – 4.40pm.
This is to make up for the session missed through the cancellation of the program due to wet weather.
Oxygym Opening at Coomera City Centre
OXYGYM LIFESTYLE CENTRE at the Coomera City Centre are opening a 24 hour Gym. They are offering a fundraising project for the school.
2009 Opening Procedures
On the first morning of school in 2009, Tuesday 27 January, all parents and students should proceed to our new main under covered area (there will be signs to help you).
Facilities Update
On Monday we got “public” access to our new front carpark and two of our new buildings; our Administration block and our Resource Centre. Before Christmas, we expect to get access to our remaining buildings.
Birth Certificates for Prep Students
Is your child starting Prep in 2009? If your child was born on or before 30 June 2004, you will need proof of age (such as their birth certificate) to enrol them in school next year.
Springwood Seals Netball Club
Springwood Seals Nnetball club is once again looking for players to join our club for the 2009 netball season.
School Hours Reminder
Our school starts at 8:40am and finishes at 3pm. There is no rostered supervision of students who arrive early or stay late (except those enrolled in our extra curricular clubs, and Day Care/ Bus students).
Family Information for 2009
If your family is leaving CSSS at the end of 2008 please inform the administration in writing as soon as possible.
Similarly if you know of any families wanting to enrol for 2009 please advise them to do so NOW!
Without this information we are unable to accurately determine the number and make up of classes for 2009.
Be Prepared for Severe Weather
With more severe weather predicted for the coming summer months, it is vital that residents are aware of the potential danger of storms and know how to be prepared for them.
December School Holidays Art Workshop
Artzone Art Workshops are held at Synergy Residents Centre, Genesis, Coomera on the 15th, 18th and 22nd December.
